Established in 1948 by Soroptimist International of Anacortes and managed by the club’s Home Health Committee, this program is available to anyone living in the 98221 zip code. The equipment is free of charge and can be borrowed for any length of time. It is not available to care facility residents.
At present we have over 1300 items for loan including wheelchairs, walkers, knee walkers, toilet seat risers, shower chairs, commodes, canes, crutches and more. The equipment can be checked out and returned on Tuesdays and Fridays between 8 AM and 7 PM. Just ring the bell at the back door of our Thrift Shop and we’ll be happy to help you.
Signatures on specific forms are required when borrowing Home Health Equipment from Soroptimist International of Anacortes. If you are unable to come to the Shop in person to pick up your equipment please print and complete the Signature Authorization Form found on this page. This form is necessary to sign out equipment for another person residing in the 98221 area.
The Release of Liability Agreement Form will be signed at time of check out of equipment.
